With the first Advent weekend around the corner and less than four weeks until Christmas Eve, some of us might find ourselves caught up in the yearly stress of finding the perfect presents for our loved ones. Desperate in my search, I often find myself browsing through lists put together by other bloggers or magazines, supposedly containing all the best gifts for your partner, family and friends.

But what do you do when you have to find the perfect present for a tech lover, or to be more specific, someone who is really into the Internet of Things (IoT)? Needless to say, most of us are tech lovers ourselves and we really sympathize with everyone who is as well. Because of this, we have decided to compile a list of the top IoT gadgets that will hopefully help you find the perfect present for your beloved tech lover.

Before I get started presenting our favorites, please note that:

      • The list is based on objective web research.
      • We have only included IoT gadgets that are available to date and can be purchased online or in the store.

Please feel free though, to share all your favorite IoT gadgets, even if they are still in prototype status, in the comments below or on Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. using the hashtag #IoTChristmasGift.
